Harmony Zhu : World Champion (U8 Girls) !
Harmony Zhu won her last game and her score of 9/11 was enough to earn the World Champion title (after tiebreaks). Some players mentionned that Harmony is not only a gifted chess player, but also a talented piano player.

Other Canadians also performed well ; Issani Nameer finished with 8/11 (9th place after tie-breaks), IM Richard Wang with 7.5/11, Qiyu Zhou, Talukdar Rohan and Noorali Aahil with 7/11. Maïli-Jade Ouellet, who had a great score of 6/8, unfortunately lost her last three rounds.
