Last week to register for the 2014 CUCC!

The 2014 Canadian University Chess Championship will be held at Carleton University in Ottawa, on January 11 and 12, 2013. It will be a 5 rounds Team Swiss (teams of 4 players). 

There are two sections, championship (open) and U1800 average rating. 

Any team can still register. All players need to be CFC or FQE members (highest rating will be considered) and students or teachers at a Canadian University.

Before January 6th : $150 for first team and $100 for additional teams.  Register online on the Carleton University Chess Club website. 

2013 host and winner McGill Chess Club already confirmed their participation with an all-masters first team.

Schedule

Time control : 60 min + 30s/move on Saturday, and 90min + 30s/move on Sunday.
