Hart House Reading Week Open

When: February 15, 16, 17 (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) - Family Day weekend

Prize fund: $5000 based on 120 entries

Rounds: 10am & 4pm all three days

Where: University of Toronto, Hart House, Great Hall

Sections: Crown, U2200, U1900 & U1600

Time Control: 120 minutes plus 30 seconds increment for both Crown & U2200 Sections -- For U1900 & U1600 Sections, 90 minutes for the first 30 moves, 60 minutes sudden death added after move 30.

Organizer: Adrienne Todd & Hart House Chess Club

Crown & U2200 Sections will be CFC & FIDE rated. U1900 & U1600 will be rated with CFC.

Special Discount: Free entry for players who have never played in any CFC or FIDE rated tournament. Chess Federation of Canada (CFC) membership purchase still required for $48, and entrants will not be eligible for prize money.
