The Laval (Quebec) Open Championship, on hiatus for the past years, is making a comeback in 2014 !

Where: St-Louis de Monfort Community Center, 25 St-Louis St, Laval, QC
When : June 20-22, 2014
Schedule : 5 rounds.Friday 7pm, 10 AM and 3:30 PM Sat. and Sun.

Prize fund : $2500, guaranteed (detailed scheme here) 
Sections : Open, U1800, U1500, U1200+unr
Entry Fee : $60 open, $55 U1800, $50 U1500, $45 U1200, +$10 after June 1st, +$20 on site. All juniors : $40.
Time Control : 75min/40 + 20 to mate, +30 s/move
Misc : FIDE, CFC, FQE rated, need CFC or FQE membership (free for CMA players) . Byes for first 2 rounds only.

Registration : Post check to Championnat d'échecs de Laval, 1033 J.J. Joubert, Laval, QC, H7G 4J5, or pay cash at Strategy Games.
