INVITATION

The Confederation of Chess for Americas (CCA), the Chess Federation of Canada and organizers of the 2014 Kitchener Chess Festival are pleased to invite the National Chess Federations USA, Mexico, Bermuda and Canada to the first Annual North American U20 Chess Championships.  The tournament will be held from July 30^th to August 4^th, 2014, in Kitchener Ontario.

Awards:    The winners of the Girls and Open Divisions will earn the following awards from FIDE:  

• Clear first = 9 round WGM and GM norm

• Equal first after tiebreak  = WIM and IM title

• Silver and Bronze = 9 round WIM and IM norm

• In addition, the winners, if still eligible, shall have the right to participate in the 2015 Pan-Am U20 as an invited player.
