July 17: GM Moradiabadi simul at RACC (Ottawa)

GM Elshan Moradiabadi is coming to Ottawa to give a simul at the RA Chess Club on July 17, 2014. 

Elshan became a grandmaster in 2005, and has a current FIDE rating of 2593, making him the top player in his native country of Iran. He has played a number of tournaments in Canada, including the 2013 Canadian Open in Ottawa, and tied for second in the Quebec Open in 2013. He will stop in Ottawa en route to playing in the Canadian Open tournament in Montreal, which is scheduled to start just two days later.
