Very busy season for Eric Hansen

Canadian GM Eric Hansen, currently rated 2593 moved to Europe last year in order to play chess full time. After participating in this year's Canadian Open in Montreal, as well as the Tromso Olympiads, he's going to be very busy this fall, participating in six major events before the end of the year.

  • September 4-10 Spanish League: Linares, Spain
  • September 19-30 Durban Open: Durban, South Africa
  • October 2-5 Icelandic League : Reykjavik, Iceland
  • October 10-18 Unive Open : Hoogeven, The Netherlands
  • October 19-25 Guernsey Open : Guernsey, Channel Islands (UK)
  • November 26-December 5 Qatar Masters : Doha, Qatar
