Razvan Preotu : Canada's next IM!

Razvan earned his final IM norm at the US Masters in Greensboro, North Carolina. One of his norms also counts as a GM norm, so he can already aim for the grandmaster title!

Razvan had an incredible progression lately, as one can see from his FIDE rating progress chart (above). He is now the 36th U16 player in the world.

As always, the new title will need to be confirmed by FIDE at the next assembly.
