Club tournaments for the new season

Happy New Year everyone ! Many clubs in Quebec and Ontario have now opened for the new season and several of them are hosting tournaments : 

Aurora Chess Club is hosting its annual New Year's Swiss on Mondays, starting next week. 43 players are already registered for the six rounds tournament. The deadline for joining the next round is every Friday.

Toronto Saturday Rapids are still every Saturday, 4 PM at the Unicorn Pub. Details. 20 players showed up last Saturday.

Club d'échecs de Chambly is organizing a 12 rounds ladder tournament in which players can skip as many games as they wish. The highest player on ladder with more than four games played wins. Details in French.

Club d'échecs Montcalm is currently organizing a week-end open tournament. Their January weekly standard tournament has already started but it's possible to register until Jan. 16th. See the Club website.

Club d'échecs de Montréal hosts a standard round-robin tournament every month with one game every Wednesday. The February tournament will start on the 4th. Details
