Summer Training Camps with GM Eric Hansen, GM Romain Edouard and IM Hambleton

FM Lefong Hua, in collaboration with the FQE (Quebec Chess Federation), is organizing three training camps this summer. These are open to all players aged under 21 with a rating from 800 to 2300. GM Eric Hansen and IM Aman Hambleton will be giving lessons in English, while GM Romain Edouard will give the lessons in French (a good immersion opportunity!).
The camps will feature lessons, along with slow rated games and numerous prizes for the participants. 

Training Camp 1 : 

  • June 29th - July 3rd
  • Objective : Preparation for the CYCC
  • By GM Eric Hansen (Canada) & FM Lefong Hua
  • Schedule  9am to 5pm
  • 2 sections: 1700 and up (in English), 1700 and under (French)

Training Camp 2 (during the Quebec Open):

  • July 20th - 24th
  • Objective : Preparation for the Quebec Open/AIDEF Championships
  • By GM Romain Edouard (France) & FM Lefong Hua
  • Schedule :  1pm to 5pm
  • 2 sections: 1700 and up, 1700 and under (both in French)

Training Camp 3 

  • August 10th - 14th
  • By IM Aman Hambleton (Canada) & FM Lefong Hua 
  • Schedule  9am to 5pm
  • 2 sections: 1700 and up (in English), 1700 and under
