Yuanling Yuan wins her first game at the World Championship
Yuanling Yuan, Canada's strongest female player, is representing us at the Women's World Championship in Sochi, Russia. In the first round, she defeated one of the World strongest female players, WGM Mariya Muzychuk. She only needs a draw tomorrow to advance to the next round.
The Women's World Chess Championship takes place from March 17– April 7 in Sochi, Russia. 64 players from around the world compete in series of knock-out matches.
