Sambuev 5/5 at TORO

88 players competed in the 2016 Tournoi Ouvert Régional de l'Outaouais (TORO) event in Gatineau, June 3-5, 2016. 

GM Bator Sambuev won the Open section with 5/5. IM Jean Hébert  was second with 4/5, and David Gordon and Francesco Dunne were =3rd-4th with 3.5/5.

U1900
Joey Orozco and Jack Mcleod were =1st in the U1900 with 4.5/5. David Fei and Gilles Jobin were =3rd-4th with 4/5.

U1500
Evan Frangakis was clear first with 4.5/5, winning all four games and "dropping" a 1/2 point for a 3rd round bye. There was a four-way tie for 2nd-5th with 4/5: Paul St.Pierre, Nicholas Dupont-Mageau, Jules Breton, and Hugo Laroche.
