The event is happening the weekend of 22-24, squeezed in between the Quebec Scholastic Chess Championships and the Mcgill Open

The McIntosh Open will be held next weekend in Morrisburg, ON. Hosted by the RA Chess club.

Women's Olympiad team almost complete!

Similar to the Men's side, the women's team is all but finalized. The selection process is 4 players by rating + a wild card. The wild card has yet to be selected.

Hart House Spring Open

Olympiad: Selection of the 5th spot of National team narrows down to 6 people

The 42nd Chess Olymiad will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 1 september to 14 septermber (moved from original schedule of late Sept.). The CFC will send one team of 5 to Baku.

The North American Youth Chess Championship is back in Canada!

August. Come see the talented youth of NA! The event will be held in Windsor. Everything is in US dollars. Announcement below.

Almost half the spots filled for the Niagara Falls Open that is six weeks away!

The event will be held from April 15-17. The player limit is 70.

Reminder: Gatineau Open 2016 next weekend

Gatineau is a beautiful city in western Quebec. Right across Ottawa, it is located on the northern bank of the Ottawa River and only requires a 5 min car ride from its city center.
