2016 Canadian Women's Zonal

For the first time since 2012, there will be a Canadian Women's Zonal.
It will be September 22-26, 2016 at the RA Centre in Ottawa.
With five days left to enter, the field is currently topped by 3 women rated over 2250.

2016 Canadian Open Results

GM Gergely Antal took clear first at the 2016 Canadian Open. Canadian FM Andrew Peredun was clear second and earned an IM norm by scoring an undefeated 7/9, including +1 =3 -0 against four GMs.
