Last weekend the Abe Yanofsky Memorial was held in Winnipeg. Of course, GM Daniel Abraham Yanofsky was Canadian's most famous player for the better part of 30 years.

Visiting American Grandmaster, Alex Yermolinsky took 1st place by 1/2 point over local masters Trevor Vincent and Jeff Babb.
