I was approached by Ilia Bluvshtein (OCA president) at the Kitchener ChessFest to remind me that the Ontario Open is scheduled for SWOCL region in 2015. Under OCA regulations, the region has until October 1st to submit an acceptable bid to the OCA for approval. Hopefully, OCA will continue with its sponsorship of $500.
