Last Sunday, GM Bluvshtein gave a simul in Montreal at the Complexe Desjardins. He defeated 13 opponents in less than 2 hours, giving a nice show to the numerous bypassers.

The Laval Open Chess Championship was held from June 20 to June 22 in Laval (near Montréal, QC), with $2700 in prizes. Here's the game that allowed the young Hong Rui Zhu to seize the second place in the top section (behind Olivier-Kenta Chiku-Ratté, of the same age).

Whatever Black plays there are contradictory clichées ready-made for the occasion; e.g. "strike while the iron is hot" or "the threat is stronger than the execution"... But knowing chess clichées doesn't help you play chess: analysts can choose clichées, players have to choose moves.
What move should Black play?
