The Ste-Foy Chess Club is hosting its annual Tournoi d'échecs du Carnaval on Jan 24-25-26, in Quebec City.
I am replacing FM Louie Jiang this week in order to analyze a game from the WYCC. The choice was difficult, as Team Canada had quite a lot of nice victories.
Six CYCC qualifiers will be organized in Toronto between December and June. The tournaments are part of the Junior Grand Prix 2013-2014 (with $1200 in prizes).

White has more than one way to win in this position from Gerzhoy - Lenderman (Continental Class, 2013). Leonid played the most forcing, but attacking fans might want to find a second way.
